Breakfast, Β everyone? Β πŸ€—πŸ΄

One of the things I liked in my new place is that food vendors sell food as early as 5am. This place is not a market, just small stalls, or tables where vendors lay their products.

I could find various food along the way. There are male vegetable vendors, fish vendors, and even fruit vendors. My favourite is of course buying boiled sweet potato and banana. I can get 3 pieces of banana for 20php or  the seller sometimes gives me an extra. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

I really admire how they work hard just to make both ends meet. Whenever I buy some products  from them,(especiallly men) they often crack jokes ,which for me was nothing. I gave them my sweetest smile despite having a sleepy face (from my night shift schedule).

What are you having for breakfast today? 🍴🍽

FOOD REPUBLIC : Is it worth paying for? πŸ€”

I was supposed to go home earlier after my work last friday but it rained cats and dogs therefore I had to wait until the rain subsides .Suddenly , my co worker’s invitation about eating out in another unlimited chicken restaurant came in mind. 😜 πŸ”πŸ”

The location was quite near my office. So I and my 7 workmates  went there by jeepney. It was almost 1am when we arrived (by the way, this restaurant opens round the clock! 24 hours! )😎

There was no available space for the 8 of us, so we were transferred the extension of their restaurant  just few steps from the main place.  I think it was still owned by the management yet in a different  space.The staff said that that place was like a bar style.The entrance was still messy with electrical wires on the floor. A narrow stair lead us to the second floor.

~~~THE MENU~~~~~
(The 2 photos are grabbed from the restaurant’s fb page )
I was actually  thinking it was the same as in BURROWS CHICKEN (I had an article about it) but it wasn’t. The chicken was deep fried,served with different dips.
We really love the fries served a little hot.
OBSERVATIONS:
~~The table setting was okay. A large mirror can be seen on both sides.
~~Ventilation was okay. Each of us paid the amount of 199php excluding our drinks.
~~the attendants were very kind, and attend to our demands (more chicken and fries please!! ) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
~~ any unfinished piece/ pieces of chicken will be charged 20php each so make sure to eat whatever  was served. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜
So the question “IS IT WORTH PAYING FOR? ” Definitely  YES!!!  πŸ€—πŸ˜…
I’m gonna try visiting this place again,so I could also see the other space which offers instagrammble ideas. πŸ˜…πŸ˜†
Would you dine in!? πŸ‘€πŸ™€
It was last year during our Boracay vacation where I finally I had chance to, not just take some photos but dined in as well in this controversial restaurant. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€“
It is the first toilet restaurant in the Philippines. It was inspired by the owner’s first-hand experience at the Modern Toilet restaurant in Taipei.
~~~~THE PLACE~~~~~~

The toilet bowl served as seat for customers  dining in. πŸ€“πŸ˜œ

The colorful seat covers  served as a decoration added a “summer getaway” effect

Isn’t it a good dining set? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

~~~THE MENU ~~~~ πŸ€“πŸ˜‚
(sorry for the poor photo quality )
~~~WHAT WE ORDERED ~~~~

Since we arrived there around 5pm, it was still too early for dinner, we just ordered few dishes.

Buon Appetito.!! πŸ˜πŸ€—πŸ˜³

Ordered the iced-tea. The urinal-shaped glass, surely quenched your thirst.πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

~~~OUR PHOTOS ~~~
My mom and niece were all “what’s this?  and that!! ” haha.I saw how amused they were looking at the food being served.Nevertheless,  I was glad they were satisfied with the food.
~~~~~~VERDICT & TIPS~~~~~~~~

** The food was actually good. We loved the taste of Inihaw na Liem-poOp

** food is pricey but knowing that you are in Boracay expect to pay more.

** visit the place around 4-6 pm so you can take better photos for there are few guests those times.

~~~HOW TO GO TO BORACAY TOILET RESTAURANT  : ~~~~~~~~
**Located in Balabag Plaza, Station 1, 5608 Boracay (near the Holy Rosary Parish Church) .A tricycle is a good choice. Just tell the driver about it.
~~ ciao~~
Burrows unlimited chicken πŸ”Β
Yesterday, my workmates and I had our dinner in a chicken restaurant in Lahug. Why had we chosen this place?  For two  reasons : UNLIMITED CHICKEN & RICE!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘βœŒ
We were actually choosing some restaurants which offers unlimited rice. πŸ˜†It was agreed that our dinner will be in BURROWS.  The restuarant offers a cheaper price for each person for unlimited chicken.πŸ˜‡
(the two photos were grabbed from goggle )
While waiting for our chicken, my workmates and I were giving our opinion about the place.
the ceiling is too high,
 the paint is black which makes the place looks darker, however the place became cozy around 7pm
The space inside is small. ✌
And then the chicken came. Wow!! Two plates of chicken cooked differently. Looking at the food made me really hungry. I tasted everything from the chili flavored wings to the classic one.   πŸ˜¬πŸ˜„
I was so full. I didn’t know how many pieces of chicken I had eaten. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I think the price was really worth it.
The place is really recommended  for people who have bigger appetite. Although you can also choose regular orders.
~~~~TIPS & HOW TO GO THERE~~~~~~~

***Prepare to spend: php 199 on Unlimited Chicken Wings & Rice + php 40 Unlimited Iced Tea + php 10/dip (Important reminder: left-over/take-out is at php20/piece).

*** Ride 04c or 17c jeepneys bound to LAHUG. The place is located at Tsai Hotel and Residences on the way to Camp Lapu-Lapu in Lahug), .It is also near Pino Restaurant.

That’s all for now.  I won’t eat chicken for a week. LOL πŸ”πŸ—πŸ—πŸ˜‚

Calea Treat. 🍰

On our last day in Bacolod, I really made sure I could try the famous CALEA . This place was recommended by many.

Luckily,while we were buying pasalubong in Robinsons Bacolod ,I saw the CALEA just near the entrance. I pulled my sister and told her we should grab a bite just once. .πŸ˜‚

When we were inside,My mind whispered “wow”..The pastries looked so delicious and mouthwatering.The staff asked us what we wanted. I was tongue tied.It was difficult to choose.LOL .Like “I want this,or I want that”..LOL..

So I asked her what their best seller was. She recommended we should try the blueberry cheesecake.🍰

The sweetness was just enough. The peanuts added a crisp.One bite will give you a satisfaction.I wanted more!! However my sister isn’t into sweets. 😁 Well, at least i could also recommend  this place. One slice was only 95.00php ..

Grab some dessert guys. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
