I have been mentioning  and posting some of my photos with my fiancé .. I believe I should keep my love life private, (my Rule 101!! Hahaha) but  I feel like sharing it to you.WHY??😁

Today marks our 42nd monthsary (Italy to Philippines time). 👏😍👫.   Therefore,I want to share “a few ” of our unforgettable  moments.. We aren’t like ordinary couples who can spend time together anytime they want…😟😏😐

Let me start with the question:  HOW DID YOU MEET HIM? 

ANSWER: In an ONLINE DATING website😂

I have never ever dreamed of having a foreign partner. I was happy with my past relationships,however it didn’t last long. It wasn’t a happily ever after. 😂 I recalled making a promise to myself that at the age of 30,I should be married or at least engaged to a Filipino. Fortunately, none of them came true .haha.😂. A friend of mine told me I should try online dating.Perhaps, I was destined to be with a foreign partner.

June, 2013

One night, I started creating  an account in an online website. Writing who I want to meet and the qualities I like in a person,the age bracket etc .It was quite interesting at first.You get to know several men from different countries. You get to know their perspective of women, their ideas about relationships etc. Well, of course some of them were only playing around looking for some hook ups. (if you know what I mean)🤔🙄

During my 4 month in that dating site, I met two good men. One was a single Canadian businessman who was still in love with his ex but hoping to find someone who’d changed his heart. Lol. And That wasn’t me. 😂😂😂 The second was an Australian divorced man and a father of 3 kids, who usually meet his ex-wife (to visit the children ). And he wasn’t the one  for me as well.

Tiring and costly.  Yes, internet cost in the Philippines  and time difference made me stop checking my account for a month. Believing that MR. RIGHT will come to me at the right time. 😍

It was December,after my work shift,  I opened  my account again.So many messages in my inbox from different men. I checked all of them,but one message really caught my attention. A message from this innocent looking  man stopped me from scrolling. 😬 “Hi, you look cute in your photo, I like to know you more “.(my profile photo was of course way too good!LOL!! It was a selfie taken at the pantry in our office😂😎)

The message was very simple, yet it made me smile. I checked his profile. He is single which even made me reply to his message.Excited as I was, yet I kept my composure.As a Filipina, we have to remain conservative (in some cases!! 😂 ).
And happier days started. We sent messages everyday. He was very consistent. We had our fist Skype video call a week after exchanging messages. We talked in skype without me bothering that it was already late, like 2am in Italy, yet he didn’t  complain.🇮🇹

It was him who first confessed, he liked me and wanted to get to know me better. I asked him to download viber so we can chat regularly.I was supposed to play “hard to get” but I felt his sincerity, and without any hesitation, i told him I’m giving him a chance.“WHY NOT? ” When both your mind and heart says “TAKE A RISK “.😂😘😍

It was March 2014, when he sent me a  screenshot of his plane ticket. I was in tears. I didn’t know why. I just felt my heart was pounding . There were a lot of things in my mind. This is it. There was no way I’m backing out.😎😝

Hence, I finally met him, June 2014. The moment I /We had been waiting for. At that very moment, my happy life became even happier. 😁❤️👫

He made this out of the water in our plunge. How sweet.. 😍
